- One 4″ x 6″ art print postcard to mail to a friend or to keep for yourself
- Ephemera related to the monthly theme (think stickers, bookmarks, and more!)

How much is it?
There are three subscription options, with savings if you go with quarterly or yearly. Pricing is in Canadian dollars. Shipping is included!
- Monthly: $18/month
- Quarterly: (every 3 months): $50/quarter
- Yearly: $200/year
How it works
- Your 3rd Story Postal Society goodies are sent on the first business day of every month.
- It typically takes 3-14 days within Canada, 7-28 days to the USA, 7-30 days internationally to reach you.
- The mail-outs are shipped via lettermail, which means that they do not have tracking. It’s a quirk of “snail mail”! Should your mail not arrive within the ranges above, please reach out by the 8th of the following month and a replacement will be sent.
- Sign up by the 15th of the month to receive the next month’s goodies (e.g. sign up by August 15th to receive September’s mailout).
FAQs
If I am not a quilter or sewist, will I still enjoy this snail mail club?
Absolutely, yes! Although each month has a pattern or tutorial, it is only on a single side of one of the postcards. The flip side, along with the other items in the subscription, are more universal and less overt in their orientation towards quilters and sewists.
When and how often does the subscription ship?
Every month on the first business day of the month. See cut-off dates below.
When do I need to sign up?
The cut-off date is the 15th of the month prior to shipping. For example, you need to subscribe by August 15th to receive the September mail-out. The subscription will automatically renew after you’ve received your first mail-out.
What subscription options are there?
The options are monthly, quarterly (every 3 months), or yearly subscriptions.
- For the monthly subscription, you will be charged every month before the next mail-out.
- For the quarterly subscription, you will be charged every 3 months for the following three mail-outs.
- For the yearly subscription you will be charged once a year for the following 12 shipments.
How do I know if I will like it?
To be honest, you won’t until you get your first mail-out. You can get a sense of my design style by poking around my blog and shop (like the stickers!). I understand it’s a little risky, but also kind of exciting! If you’ve ever had a pen pal, it’s kind of like that. We’ll build a little rapport and maybe we’ll be friends or maybe you’ll decide it’s not for you. You can try just one month at a time, in case you don’t want to commit.
When will the items be revealed?
I will post the items on Instagram in the second or third week of the month. Some of you will have gotten your goodies, others will still be awaiting them. Subscribers are free to post their goodies as soon as they receive it in the mail!
Can I order just a single mail-out after it’s been released?
Yes, if they’re available! Extras will be listed in the shop under their month/year/theme.
